Gentle, Responsive Baby and Toddler Sleep Support

Are you an exhausted parent who needs your child’s sleep to improve, but doesn’t want to sleep train?

Let me help.

As a mum of two little ones (first baby: terrible sleeper; second baby: TBD), I understand the tension of wanting just a bit more sleep to be able to function, but also wanting to respond to your baby. Despite what the Baby Sleep Industry might tell you, you don’t have to choose.

I’m both a doctor and an NDC (Possums) practitioner, so I can assess your baby or toddler for medical causes of sleep difficulties and also help you get things back on track.

No separation or crying it out. Just biology and connection.

In your 60 minute baby sleep consultation, I will:

  • Take a full history of you and your baby’s sleep

  • Examine your baby

  • Identify the factors contributing to your sleep difficulties, including any medical issues

  • Apply the Possums (NDC) Sleep Program, specifically the two biological sleep regulators: the circadian clock and sleep/wake homeostasis (also known as ‘sleep pressure’)

  • Formulate an individualised plan to improve your and your baby’s sleep

Common issues addressed in these consultations:

  • Frequent night time waking

  • Prolonged night-time wakes (also known as “midnight parties”, a great favourite of my second baby)

  • Very short or very long naps

  • Inability to sleep in or transfer to a cot

  • Crying on waking

  • “Could it be reflux / allergies / sleep apnoea / their tonsils / adenoids / ears / iron deficiency?”

  • Baby:

    Fee: $335

    Medicare rebate: $84.90-125.10

    Out of pocket: $209.90-250.10

Out of pocket once EMSN reached: $41.98-50.2
