Need a GP to help you with having a baby, feeding a baby or caring for a baby?

(or, alternatively, preventing a baby?)

That’s me! Hi!

I’m Natasha Greer.

I’m a GP and NDC Accredited Practitioner providing medical services for women, parents and babies in Canberra.

In addition to working in “general” GP , I began doing more in-depth work with women and babies because I know the importance of the first months and years of life for establishing our kids’ long term wellbeing. I wanted to help women have a healthy and enjoyable pregnancy. I really wanted to help new parents solve any problems, get in sync with their baby, find joy and flow in early parenting, and in turn, set up their child to thrive for life.

I’m also a mum of two under five (and partner of one over 40). So I get it.

I’ve been that person planning a baby and wanting to make sure my pregnancy was as healthy as possible.  I’ve been that new mum struggling with breastfeeding, sleep and crying and wanting desperately to give my baby the best.

How I Work

  • I respect your ideas, concerns and values

  • I really listen

  • My room is a judgement-free zone - you can tell me what’s really going on for you without shame

  • All body shapes and sizes are valid

  • All identities and family types are welcomed

  • While I work in breastfeeding support, I have no judgements about how you feed your baby

  • I work from an evidence base but apply that evidence to your specific situation

  • I’m thorough and work best in long appointments - no six minute medicine here!

  • When I look after you and your baby,  I care about both of your needs. I’ll work with you to find solutions that work for both of you.

  • You’re the boss - you tell me your goals, and I help you achieve them

What I Know

  • Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners
